I always Found Hot Jupiters, to be Really fascinating. Here's my Decent attempt at Making 51 Pegasi B. a Hot Jupiter planet, Discovered October 6, 1995, By Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz.The first extrasolar planet orbiting a sun-like star, 51 Pegasi.

Really nice image.

The flares seem a bit too narrow & dense though.

 

I can appreciate the inspiration, the "gas" giants are pretty cool.

Personally though, I'm as skeptical of Exos as I am other celestial phenomena that have received fanciful interpretations as Black Holes, Neutron Stars, Pulsars, etc.

(LOL to clarify: I'm absolutely certain that there are planets orbiting distant stars. What I doubt is that we've found any of them.)
